Detrove Kitchen partnered with Gestalt Media House to produce a video and photo campaign for the launch of their new Ulu Knife on Kickstarter.
The creative direction centered on highlighting the craftsmanship and premium materials that set the knife apart, blending sleek visuals with tactile close-ups to emphasize durability and design. Each shot was designed to communicate the knife’s balance of tradition and modernity, positioning it as both a functional tool and a statement piece in the kitchen.
The campaign also focused on demonstrating the Ulu Knife’s versatility through dynamic lifestyle imagery and practical food-prep sequences. By showcasing a range of cutting techniques and ingredients, the visuals reinforced the knife’s adaptability while resonating with both culinary enthusiasts and everyday home cooks.
